Friday Night Lights

On the first and third Friday of each month, we will have Friday Night Light at the building from 6-9 PM for the youth group.  We have various activities planned for these nights, but the time and dates will remain the same.  No matter what activity is planned, there will always be a devotional time.  If any of our youth need a ride to or from this event or there are any questions, please see Caleb Hankins, Mark Parshall, or Joe Robinson

Informational Meeting

Students, Parents of Students, and Teachers in 3rd - 12th Grade:

Immediately following services on April 13th, there will be a short informational meeting in the fellowship hall. At this meeting, we will cover the future curriculum and plan for students that are in 3rd through 12th grade. We will also go over the calendar for summer activities pertaining to the Youth Group, including events like Friday Night Light and the Paragould trip. If you have any questions, please contact Caleb Hankins. 

Paragould, Arkansas Trip

We are planning to leave the parking lot on Monday, June 2 at 9:00 AM and our group will return on Saturday, June 7th at approximately 4:00 PM. We will be helping Children’s Homes Inc. for four days of work (Tuesday – Friday.) Whatever they need, we will try to do. This could include painting, cleaning up the grounds, working with farm animals, working in the garden, mending fences, washing vans, or putting up hay. This will be our 20th year to go. There is no cost, except cash for two meals as we travel (one down and one on the way back). If you are less than 18 years old, do NOT forget to have your parents fill out a “Parental Consent” form with your most current insurance information and include any allergies you have. If you have any questions, please see Joe Robinson or Mark Parshall. A sign-up sheet can be found on the round table in the foyer. Please sign up so we know how many vans to have ready.

If you would like to open your home or host an event for the youth group, please talk to Joe Robinson. Let him know when you would like to host (maybe in the next quarter or next year), and also what you would like to host.

REMINDER

- Don't forget to write your sports, music, etc. events on the hallway Youth Events Calendar. So others can attend.
- Find good and helpful ways to help serve our widows.
