2025 Missions
Colombia, South America
Richard Fredendall (Jefferson City) and Nacho Bram (Marshfield) will be making a mission trip to Colombia, South America from July 3-15, 2025. They will be working with congregations in Monteria and Tulua in the Medellin area. A local team of ministers and other members will be working with them. They will speak to groups and teach individual bible studies as time permits. Richard is requesting your prayers and support for an effective mission effort to reach out to the lost and strengthen the churches there.
Money has been raised to cover planned expenses for this trip, but if you would like to help financially, additional funds can be used to provide bibles to locals or to support some of the small churches involved. If you would like to contribute, mark your check memo line with "Colombia Mission" and place it in the contribution box or give it to Rob Morrison, Andrew Wheeler or Glenn Studebaker.
Nicaragua - Mission Par Cristo
Madison Wheeler (Sylvan Hills Church of Christ - HU Healthcare Missions and Mision Para Cristo - Misión Para Cristo)
Harding University's pre-professional health students have the opportunity to serve the people of Nicaragua and share the message of Jesus Christ through Mission Par Cristo. Mission Para Christo works with the congregations of the Church of Christ, other organizations and local groups to care for those in Nicaragua and Honduras. The effort includes feeding the hungry, providing shelter, caring for children, education and providing health services.
Harding Students provide essential medical care to villages surrounding Jinotega, Nicaragua. The work includes routine check-ups, treatment for common illnesses and preventive care. Critical services that many individuals would otherwise not receive. More than just medical assistance, students seek to also offer hope and encouragement while sharing the message of Christ.
